Through the continued support of our sponsors the Greenfield Township Baseball Association is continuing to grow. The money raised in 2007 was used to make several significant improvements to the Sgt. Eric W. Slebodnik Memorial Sports Complex. In 2007 alone, the dugouts were painted, the roofs were replaced, a press box was built, and a new fence was started on the “B” field.
The GTBA will work with Greenfield Township Supervisors to make continuous improvements in the future. This year and in the near future we are hoping to add new bleachers, a picnic/playground area, basketball court, batting cage, enhance the walking trail, expand the parking area, and who knows…maybe even get lights for the field. However none of this will be possible without the continued commitment of our sponsors.
The GTBA would especially like to thank State Representative Jim Wansacz for his continued commitment to recreation in Greenfield Township.
